Finance and Accounting

AVP Controller

Our client, one of the Country's largest and reputable Engineering and Construction Company is in need of an AVP Comptroller who shall be responsible for end-to-end process of Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Treasury Management, Cash Flow Management, Taxation, Revenue Recognition, Audit, Credit Approval and Collection, Risk Management and Systems and Policies Documentation.

Responsibilities:

•Lead and participate in all financial operations of the organization which includes reporting, forecasting, billing, cash management, investments and fixed assets
•Provide financial leadership to the organization and establish accounting strategies
•Establish and execute internal controls over the company’s accounting and financial procedures
•Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
•Administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that the finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner
•Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
•Manage revenue allocation by ensuring business cash flow adequately supports company activities and yields optimal results
•Ensure that all accounting allocations are appropriately made and documented
•Negotiate lines of credit and vendor agreements, as well as reviewing all financial contracts, financing agreements and insurance policies
•Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances including operating and capital expenditure budgets
•Oversee accounts payable and receivable systems by reviewing and approving all invoices and ensure that all collections are met on an acceptable timeline
•Coordinate with external tax accountants for income tax preparation and other government related requirements and regulatory reporting
•Support month-end and year-end close process

Qualifications:
•30 to 45 years old
•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
•Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
•At least 10 years’ experience in Accounting and Financial Management, with 5 years managerial experience
•At least 5 to 10 years experience as a Financial Controller for multinational construction companies
•Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
•Must be skilled at in depth financial analysis
•Strong organizational and management skills.
•Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
•Familiar with BIR and SEC requirements
•Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Service Delivery Lead (F&A LOB)

Our client is a leading global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, helping clients become high-performance businesses and organizations. They are in need of an F&A Delivery Lead is responsible for all aspects of off-shore finance and accounting service delivery.

Responsibilities:
•Operations management of all processes within the client delivery scope
• Working with internal key stakeholders and the client to ensure seamless and cost efficient performance
•Developing a leadership team that focuses on client delivery, continuous improvement, people development and financial prudence
•Building a high performance delivery team
•Ensuring optimum financial management for operation/project including understanding and managing budget, tracking actual costs, reviewing expenses, and reviewing invoices for accuracy
•Ensuring consistent application of human resource processes including career development, salary review, re-sourcing and performance management across the team

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
•Minimum of 15 years accounting or finance work experience
•At least 10 years managerial experience
•Strong GA, AP, AR experience in a BPO/Shared Services environment
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Excellent people and client management skills
•Certified Public Accountant is a plus
